The Journey

What Started as a Show Became a Cultural Moment

We started Khamma Gujarat with a simple idea: let’s put together a show that celebrates who we are through humor, music, and the kind of stories we grew up with.

What we didn’t see coming was how personal it would become.

It wasn’t just a tour. It was a reunion.

Gujarati uncles in Kampala laughed like kids. Teenagers in Dubai, learned about Dayro for the first time. Parents thanked us after the show for reminding their kids where they come from.

And every night, on every stage, we remembered why this matters.

So… What Now?

We Don’t Know Yet. But We Know It’s Not Over.

We’ve packed up the lights, rolled up the banners, and left the stages behind for now.

But this isn’t the end. We’ve seen what this kind of storytelling can do. And we’re not done.

If you want to know what comes next, stay close. We’ll share when it’s ready. No hype. Just a heart.

What People Told Us

This is what stayed with us

My son speaks English at home. That night, he asked me to teach him a Gujarati joke. That’s the first time that’s ever happened.

Priyanka, Nairobi

You made us laugh about things we never talk about in public. Thank you for that.

Nirav, Dubai

You showed us our own culture in a way that felt proud, not preachy. Just real.
